The Jeff Foxworthy Show

The Jeff Foxworthy Show is an ABC\NBC network comedy series created by Tom Anderson, starring comedian Jeff Foxworthy in the lead role.

The show first aired on ABC from September 12, 1995 to May 15, 1996, but was cancelled after one season & 17 episodes. It was later picked up by NBC where it aired from September 23, 1996 to May 5, 1997, lasting for one season & 23 episodes.

It was produced by Brillstein-Grey Communications, Mr. Willoughby, Inc. and Columbia Pictures Television.

Plot[]

The show centered on the life of Jeff Foxworthy, a Southern redneck who owned his own heating and air-conditioning company in Indiana.

Production[]

In the first season, network executives considered Jeff Foxworthy's routine "too Southern" for a national network and based his sitcom in Bloomington, Indiana.
