The Ellen Burstyn Show is an ABC network sitcom series, starring Ellen Burstyn in the lead role & created by Norman Steinberg & David Frankel.
The show premiered on September 20, 1986, airing until November 15, 1986 after 8 episodes aired, but it returned in August of 1987 to burn off the remaining five episodes of the series.
The series ended on September 5, 1987 after one season & 13 episodes.
Plot[]
The show was about Baltimore college professor Ellen Brewer, who sometimes had to deal not only with the students that she has to tutor, but also with her meddling mother, Sydney, her divorced daughter, Molly & 5-in-a-half-year-old grandson, Nick.
