Tenspeed and Brown Shoe is an ABC network detective comedy series created by Stephen J. Cannell.

The show first from January 27, 1980 to May 20, 1980 for 10 episodes; the remaining four episodes aired from June 6, 1980 to June 27, 1980.

Plot[]

The series centered on a paroled con man and an accountant (with dreams of becoming a detective) who teamed up together to fight crime.

Reception[]

"Tenspeed and Brown Show" was heavily promoted by ABC at the time it premiered in late January 1980 and attracted a substantial audience for its first few episodes (indeed, the series was the 29th-most watched program of the 1979–80 U.S. television season, according to Nielsen ratings), but viewership dropped off substantially after that, and it was not renewed for the 1980–81 season.
