Sister, Sister is an American television sitcom that aired on ABC from April 1, 1994 till April 28, 1995, before being canceled after 2 seasons. The show was picked up by and continued on the WB.
About the show
Identical twins, Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell, were separated by adoption at birth after their biological mother died. However, fourteen years later, they find each other by accident at a clothing store at the mall with their adoptive parents. After their chance encounter, Ray Campbell, Tamera's adoptive father, reluctantly allows Tia and her adoptive mother Lisa Landry to move in with them so the girls had the opportunity to reconnect.
Although the twins are identical in appearance their personalities are polar opposites, with Tia being the intelligent one from inner city Detroit while Tamera is the boy-crazy twin from the suburbs. The series follows the sisters as they go through high school and reconnect as sisters.
