Sidekicks is an ABC network action\adventure\martial arts series and spin-off of the Walt Disney special, "The Last Electric Knight."
The show aired from September 26, 1986 to June 13, 1987, lasting for one season & 23 episodes. It was produced by Motown Productions and Walt Disney Television.
Plot[]
The series centered on police sergeant Jake Rizzo who is chosen by his adoptive son, Ernie Lee's late grandfather, Sabasan to train him in martial arts and Ernie insists on using it to help Jake with his cases.
