Shooting Stars is an ABC network crime drama pilot produced by Aaron Spelling and Douglas S. Cramer which aired on July 28, 1983, but it was not picked up by the network as a series.
The series was supposed to center on Douglas Hawke and Bill O’Keefe, two actors fired from a popular detective TV series who decide to become real-life private eyes by opening up their own private detective agency to pay the bills in between acting jobs.
