Jeff Franklin
Jeff Franklin
 (born January 21, 1955) is an American director and producer. He is best known for creating the ABC television series Full House , as well as it's netflix spin-off series Fuller House, and the series Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and also producing Malcolm & Eddie.


Franklin started off his television career by producing Laverne & Shirley and Bosom Buddies'. Later on Franklin pitched his own comedy show about three comics living together, sense ABC was looking for something family friendly he added three children and called it Full House, which began in 1987 and ended in 1985. Once Full House was established, Franklin later created Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, which he left in 1992. He later produced Malcolm & Eddie, It's Garry Shandling's Show, and the olsen Twins Movie, To Grandmother's House We Go.

On April 20, 2015, Netflix announced they would pick-up Fuller House, a spin-off to the original series Full House, for thirteen episodes. Franklin reprised his role as creator and producer. The hit series premiered February 26th, 2016 and is currently in it's fifth season. In February 2018, Franklin was fired from the series following complaints of verbally abusive and vulgar language.
