About the show[]

The profoundly realistic family sitcom takes us through the struggles of Bill and Jo, the parents of two young children, as they attempt to get through the day as a functioning family.

Parenting by itself is hard enough, but when you could that with some overzealous extended family members who have an opinion about your every move, chaos is bound to take the upper hand. How else can you describe the meddling of Bill's judgmental live-in mother and Jo's large Latinx Catholic family, who have made it their mission to point out every mistake the couple is bound to make.

Under the motto "stronger together", Bill and Jo vowed to form a united front against everyone who threatens their attempts at having a normal life, be that other parents, teachers, doctors, specialists, coaches, co-workers and especially their kids.

First announced on February 8, 2019 and set to premiere in the spring of 2020 with an eight-episode order, United We Fall was one of the many series affected by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Although word floated around that the show would be pushed to a fall release, it did make it on the July 2020 schedule.

The Latinx-Catholic family comedy hailed from Making History grad Julius "Goldy" Sharpe, who wrote and exec produced the comedy. The Big Bang Theory Emmy nominee Mark Cendrowski directed the pilot.
