Day Break is an ABC network drama series starring Taye Diggs in the lead role that was created by Paul Zbyszewski.
The show premiered on November 15, 2006 and also starred Moon Bloodgood, Meta Golding, Victoria Pratt, Adam Baldwin & Ramon Rodriguez.
After only six episodes aired, the show was cancelled on December 13, 2006 due to low ratings. The remaining episodes were made available online at ABC.com.
On March 16, 2008, the TV One cable network began airing the six previously broadcast episodes.
On April 20, 2008 the network began airing Sunday evening broadcasts of the remaining seven episodes, which had never been seen on television.
Plot[]
The show was about Brett Hopper, a detective who is framed for the murder of Alberto Garza, an assistant district attorney. Due to a time loop, Brett lives the same day over and over.
The series revolves around his attempt to solve the mystery of the murder, and find out who is behind the conspiracy to frame him.
