About the show
The series follows a cast of celebrities, as each one of them is paired up with a professional dancer to help them brave the dance floor for the very first time. The competition forces the competitors to leave their comfort zone each week to endure hours of grueling rehearsals to master new dance styles and technical choreography. The result of their hard work is judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts as well as voted upon by viewers. The couple receiving the lowest combined total of judges' points and audience votes is eliminated each week until only the champion dance pair remains and wins the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
