Cheyenne is an ABC network western series developed by Roy Huggins, starring Clint Walker in the lead role.

The show aired from September 20, 1955 to December 17, 1962, lasting for seven seasons & 107 episodes.

It was also the first hour-long dramatic series of any kind (with continuing characters) to last more than one season.


The series centered on Cheyenne Bodie, a physically large cowboy with a gentle spirit searching frontier justice who wanders the American West.
