Adams of Eagle Lake is an ABC Kids crime drama pilot, starring Andy Griffith and produced by Richard O. Link.
The pilot premiered on January 10, 1975, but was not picked up as a series by the network.
Another pilot of the planned series was produced: "Adams of Eagle Lake: The Treasure Chest Murders" which premiered on February 26, 1975.
Plot[]
The series was supposed to be about Sam Adams, the sheriff of a small resort town called Eagle Lake in California.
Other characters in the pilot were Margaret Kelly (Sam's "girl friday" and romantic interest) and Jerry Troy & Jubal Hammond (Sam's deputies).
